Located within the Teifi Valley hamlet of Drefelin, just outside Drefach Felindre our three cottages are built within the walls of a former wool mill and offer a unique connection to the area’s rich history. The waterwheel that once powered the mill still stands proudly beside the property, a tangible reminder of the site’s industrial past.
Each cottage boasts comfortable furnishings and names inspired by the wool industry. Spinners and Weavers both offer two bedrooms each and Waterwheel offers three bedrooms. Together, the cottages can accommodate up to 13 people.
Approximately 4.5 miles from the charming market town of Newcastle Emlyn and 14 miles from the lively county town of Carmarthen, Dolgoch Mill Cottages offer a perfect base for exploring. Within walking distance, you’ll find the National Wool Museum of Wales, a fascinating look into the region’s rich heritage. The cottages’ idyllic location also puts you within easy reach of the stunning coastlines and charming countryside of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion. You’ll be able to explore many castles, fabulous countryside and seaside walks, river activities, and see the dolphins and seals in the sea off the Cardigan coast.
