New Quay, Cardigan Bay with it’s picturesque harbor and sandy beaches is just a 30 minute drive away from Dolgoch Mill Cottages. With it’s many cafes, restaurants, pubs and various seaside shops it has everything for the family in a compact seaside location.
Around the harbor you’ll be able to book boat trips to go dolphin spotting although it’s advisable to book online beforehand during busier times. If you are into fishing then sea angling trips are also available.
Walking out of New Quay a short distance up or down the coastal path will reward you with cliff top views and quiet picnic spots.
Finding a parking space close to the shoreline can be difficult when it’s busy but if you enter New Quay via Hill Street you stand more of a chance of finding parking on you right off Park Street. Once parked cross back over Hill Street and walk down Glanmore Terrace where you can explore the shops and eateries on the way down to the shoreline.
